Krafty Gurl Designs was one of the first indie companies that I ever purchased. So when I was given the opportunity to swatch and review for Krafty Gurl I was ecstatic! I love Jeanine's unique polishes and great formulas. If you are interested in purchasing any of these gorgeous polishes from the "Glass Garden Collection", or any of Jeanine's other stunning creations, you can find Krafty Gurl Designs here.
First up:
"Day Lily" is an incredible, green glitter-bomb with a gold shine. For this look I started with two coats of Krafty Gurl Designs "Day Lily". I then hand placed water decals that I purchased from eBay. I finished with a coat of HK Girl Top Coat. Pictured above light within a light box.
I think what I love most about this formula is that I only needed two coats to reach opacity. In my experience, heavy glitter polishes tend to either bulk up too much or not enough. This polish was definitely just right. I also love the bright, crisp color of the green. The gold shimmer, just breathtaking as well. Definitely a fantastic spring green.

When I went to remove this mani, I fell even more in love with Krafty Gurl Designs than I already was. (Is it possible? It is) As you can see in the above macro, this polish does not shy away from glitter in the least. So of course I expected so issue. Even a little one. Nope. Nothing. It was like removing cream nail polish I had just applied. I even let this mani set for a couple of hours!! I was so happy when I went to use my nail polish remover pads and had to apply no more pressure than I would with any other polish. This formula wins, hands down, for one of the easiest ones to remove that I have ever experienced.
Next up:
"Poppy" is a fiery, orange glitter-bomb with a stunning gold shine. For this look I started with two coats of Krafty Gurl Designs "Poppy". I then hand placed water decals that I purchased from WrapArtist Nails. I finished with a coat of HK Girl Top Coat. The above photo is lit and photographed within a light box.
The application of this polish was seamless. It was opaque within two coats. I did not try three, but I bet it would be even more fierce!

Overall, I adore these two shades and I love the concept and execution behind the "Glass Gardens Collection". I think that the shades are beautiful, and the formulas are unique. I definitely do not own any other colors like these. I love the heavy glitter formula, without there being heavy glitter. They apply flawlessly, and are surprisingly easy to remove. These are a perfect addition to any Spring palette. If you are interested in any of the polishes I have reviewed here you can find them for sale here. Jeanine also has some other gorgeous polishes you shouldn't miss out out ;). Have a beautiful day!!
