Sassy Polish & Scrubs is a fantastic indie company that I had seen a couple of times in my feed on IG. When Danielle contacted me to swatch for Sassy Polish & Scrubs I just couldn't resist trying out some of her fabulous creations! If you are interested in purchasing any of the polishes I have for review in this post, or any other pretties from Sassy Polish & Scrubs you can find Danielle's store here.
Let's jump in:
"Ocean Glow" is a beautiful, shimmery teal polish that totally reminds me of the ocean! I started with two coats of "Ocean Glow" and then topped with a coat of HK Girl Top Coat. I accented this manicure with stamping from my MoYou London stamping plates. I individually placed emerald rhinestones.
The application of this polish was a breeze. I'm not sure if my base coat was messed up or my top coat, but the finished look seemed to dry with small bumps. Next time, I would probably just finish with a coat of Gelous, or redo my base coat. I had been wearing it for a couple of days and had done some heavy dish scrubbing.
Macro of "Ocean Glow". I am obsessed with this shade of blue! It is so beautiful, and the shimmer is just too stunning!
Next up:
"Southern Belle" is a fabulous purple, jelly holo. for this mani I started with three coats of "Southern Belle". I then topped it with a coat of Vapid Lacquer Top Coat and accented this look with floral water decals that I purchased from eBay.
The application of "Southern Belle" was easy as pie. The opacity is definitely something that has to be built, but after three coats I was happy with coverage. There was no streaking, globbing, or lifting.

Obligatory sparkle shot of this breath taking holo!
I absolutely adore how this purple polish lights up in the sun!

And the holos continue:
"Hey Y'all" is a stunning grey-green holo. For this mani I started with three coats of "Hey Y'all". I then topped with a coat of Vapid Lacquer Top Coat and individually placed fimo clay flowers and rhinestones.
I love the subtleness of this shade. It reminds of the color of ivy. Also, like previously mentioned with "Southern Belle", this shade builds to opacity. If you prefer a more sheer look, two coats would work perfectly. Personally, I love the opacity that three coats gives.

Once again, obligatory, direct sunlight holo shot! The rainbow in this holo is beautiful and I love how it scatters.

More holos! Yippie:
"Sippin' Sweet Tea" is an amazing coral jelly holo. Like the other holos in this collection, I had to build to opacity. For this manicure I started with four coats of "Sippin' Sweet Tea". I think that if I had started with a thicker first layer I would have only needed three coats to reach true opacity.
I finished this look with a coat of Vapid Lacquer Top Coat and accented with images from my MoYou London stamping plates.
Once again, a stunning scattered rainbow holo.
I literally could stare at this shade all day long.

Lastly:
"Thunderbolt" is a badass slate grey polish. I started with two coats of "Thunderbolt" and accented this look with nail studs that I received from Winstonia.
Out of all of the polishes that I swatched and reviewed, "Thunderbolt" reached opacity in one coat. I did two coats for a more even look.

"Thunderbolt" in direct sunlight. I was stunned when I saw this polish in direct sunlight. I could wear this shade forever! I adore the sparkle, but also the intensity of the metallic grey color.

Overall, I am beyond happy with the polishes I chose to review and swatch. I definitely think that "Thunderbolt" and "Southern Belle" are my favorite shades. The holos are just so fantastic! Removal of every single shade was just as easy as application. There was absolutely no picking or intense rubbing.
If you are interested in any of the fabulous polishes I had the pleasure of swatching and reviewing you can find Danielle's store here. I would definitely recommend all you beauties go check out Sassy Polish & Scrubs!!
Have a beautiful weekend!
